Push Presents - Holiday Gift Ideas for the Expecting Mom!
The tradition of giving a gift to a new mother has very old roots in some parts of the world, however the "Push Present" trend just recently made it's way to the U.S. As the name suggests - this is a gift that is given to a mother shortly before or shortly after she gives birth. Some may also choose to give the present during the delivery itself! To be clear, the Push Present is different than a baby shower gift, instead it's meant specifically for the mother as a way to congratulate or thank her for bearing the burden of carrying, labor and delivery.

A Push Present is an amazing way to say thank you, commemorate the moment - and to show your wife that you both recognize and appreciate the accomplishment she's made. Now of course you consider your new baby a gift in itself, but there's nothing wrong with giving a little extra.
